Lake Tahoe offers some beautiful turquoise water and these rocks provide a spectacular inlet for the water to foam and boil in the noonday sun.

Using splattering with a tooth brush , moving paint with a hair dryer, layering glazes on top of each other, I used many approaches to create this piece.
