For nearly thirty years we spent weekends and holidays in the summer at a cottage on a small lake in Michigan. Some of our favorite moments were boating in our small sea ray with the younger ones especially liking to  tube behind the boat.  In this piece, two excited cousins wait for the moment they can jump in with the tube and have the boat pull them wildly  around the lake .

Areas of color create blocks of patterns in this piece, and helps direct your eye to the middle of the tube which becomes the center of interest, regardless of the partial shadowing of one of the faces.
