I wanted my students to think about how objects reflect the colors around them and what better way to demonstrate reflection then painting a silver object that reflects almost everything around it.
This tray was my mothers and every holiday my grandmother would make home made fudge. At each holiday meal, the fudge would be served in this tray- brwon sugar on one side , chocolate with or without nuts on the other side. In this piece, only one lonely chocolate was placed on the tray and the reflections confuses the mind as to how many are really there.
