After attending a workshop be Ratindra Das, I tried my hand at some of his techniques. Not as successful as I would like to have been, it did inform some of my work going forward. Every piece may not be as successful as you would hope, but you can always have a positive takeaway for your work going forward.
At this stage, I was happy with the sky ,the water was a little out of control and I had already overworked the trees in the background.
This thumbnail shows a lighter feel that I was hoping for in the painting.
