Watercolor and Ink on watercolor paper
Continuing my work on my latest series, inspired by the 20th century artist Wassily Kandinsky and the theories he taught, I have been creating pieces that have been well thought out in terms of placement, composition and color palettes. After the events of this year, this mish mash of shapes, colors and lines just morphed into the chaos that this time in history feels like to me; the same elements and attempt at a color palette are evident, but the relationships and movement speak to the unsettled and uncertain path that life has taken for almost everyone.
