In this piece I wanted to explore reflected color and using this split side silver tray with one chocolate gave me that opportunity. The tray holds special memories, my mother used it during the holidays to serve my grandmother’s fudge, one side chocolate and the other butterscotch, or chocolate with nuts.
The reflections bend and curl in the silver tray and the viewer might think that there are 2 chocolates!
